Gwanghwamun Gate Opens to the Public!

Starting from August 16th, following a long period of reconstruction, Gwanghwamun Gate is now open to the public. The newly unveiled gate is one of three entrances to the palace, along with Yongseongmun Gate (용성문, in the West) and Hyeopsaengmun Gate (협생문, in the East). No changes have been made to the palace exhibitions, opening hours, or the starting location of tour services, which start from Yeongjegyo Bridge (영제교) inside of Heungnyemun Gate (흥례문).
